Photoreflector reflective tape3/14/2023 It only seems to work with the type of reflector that KenTec sells which is a hi-grade DOT reflector. I'm sure there are lots more applications for it that I don't use. Then we move the transmitter back to the corn dump pit for fall use. Reflector is located just above the LH front NH3 wagon wheel. You can see the reflector being "light up" by camera flash in the 2nd photo. I apologize for the rust appearance in the photos. We move it to our NH3 fill stand in the summer, which is now painted by the way. Shown here is Blue reflective tape 1/2' size. Reflective tape may be installed indoors or outdoors. We've had it 3 yrs now & it works just fine. Our reflective tape is engineer grade assuring maximum durability and workability. The photos below show the detector eye we have from KenTec in Plymouth IN. Just wondering if there is a better photo eye, or if any one has made any improvements to the original one that was posted on here. The one at the show worked well with reflecdtive tape while the one built by farmers on here was said not to work well with reflective tape. Remembered a thread on here about someone building thier own. About the only thing wrong with it was the price, over $500. His looked very good with both a light and buzzer.
